How to Cook Beans
Beans can be tricky to cook properly. One useful tip is to add any salt or seasoning near to the end of the cooking time as they can prevent the beans from softening properly.
This also applies to any acidic ingredients like vinegar or lemon juice.
Ignore people who say you need to add salt at the start of cooking any foods - this is a myth that science has now disproved.
Frozen Fish Can Taste as Good as Fresh!
One of the problems with using frozen fish is that it often tastes bland and stale after it has been defrosted. This can be easily overcome by defrosting the fish in a bowl of milk, which brings back the 'nice' taste of fresh fish.

They are also rich in vitamin C, something that most of us could do with 'getting a bit more of', and also quite high in potassium. Some expert nutritionalists claim that eating blueberries helps to reduce the risk of serious complaints like cancer and heart disease
