Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup butter 2 eggs, well beaten 3/4 cup milk, sweet 1 cup flour 2 1/2 tsp baking powder

Add a little salt and corn meal to make a think batter.
Note: Time, temperature not given. Assume a moderate 350 - 400 F. oven for about 20 minutes or until done.

At the start of a diet, people most certainly look at food store and big brand food items labelled 'low in fat'. To do this is far too often a miscalculation, in that an item could be significantly reduced in fats, but nevertheless elavated in calories and carbs.
