A 1-2-3-4 Cake Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
2 unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Preparation

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ea CHOCOLATE ICING 1/2 c butter CAKE: Cream
butter until fluffy. Add sugar and cream well. Add eggs one at a
time. Beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add
alternating with milk ending with flour. Beat on low speed. Add
vanilla.
Pour into greased, floured pans. Makes three layers. Bake at 350
for 30 minutes. Test for doneness.
CHOCOLATE ICING: Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler. Remove
from heat. Blend sugar, egg, salt and vanilla into chocolate
mixture. Beat until icing is creamy. Double for threelayers.

One useful tip is to drink plenty of water. From time to time at some stage in a hectic morning, you guess that you want a snack but in fact you might just need a refreshing glass of water or orange squash. The feelings of needing food and needing a drink are quite similar, but one of the two can lead to a broken diet and the other is ok.
Some low carb diet tips:
* Make reduced carbohydrate breadcrumbs for deep fried foods. Whilst you can sometimes buy reduced carb bread crumbs, you may make them at home by using low carb bread. All you have to do is toast the reduced carbohydrate bread in the oven on a baking tray. Once it is well browned, whizz it in your blender. To store, keep in an airtight container.

* Use splenda instead of sugar. Most recipes that require sugar can be adapted to make use of a sugar substitute like splenda. It is not exactly the same so you will need to do a bit of trial and error and it may not work for everything, but it does a decent job for the most part.

The onion and garlic family of foods is rich in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe could be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
Even though there is not much scientific evidence published, allyl sulphides are also thought by many experts to aid in colds, arteriosclerosis and diabetes.

Foods containing allyl sulfides are also good for weight loss, so should be included in every diet.
