Anglesey Cake(Welsh) Recipe


Anglesey Cake(Welsh) Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

8 oz self-raising flour
3 oz butter
3 oz sugar
1 egg
3 oz mixed fruit
3 tbsp milk
1 pinch salt

Recipe Preparation

TEISEN SIR FON Cream the butter and the sugar. Beat the egg and beat
into the butter and sugar mixture. Sift the flour and salt together
and fold into the mixture. Add the fruit and enough milk to give a
soft 'dropping' consistency. Place in a greased tin in a moderately
hot oven (375/F. or Mark 5) for 45 minutes.
