Baked Devil's Float Recipe
1 1/2 package marshmallows, quartered (small size pa
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup water
2 oz chocolate
2 tbsp margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 crushed pecans
Place marshmallows in square baking pan. Bring 1/2 cup sugar and
water to a rolling boil; pour over marshmallows. Melt chocolate and
margarine in saucepan; add remaining sugar, vanilla, flour, salt,
baking powder and milk. Drop batter by spoonfulls over marshmallow
mixture. Sprinkle pecans over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40
minutes. Serve with whipped cream.

A few tips on healthy eating
In planning a diet, the important thing is to also endeavour to restrict your ingestion of refined carbohydrates, salt and fats.
Some low carbohydrate diet pointers:
* It is possible to make wonderful smoothies using low carb yogurt.
Ok, well, it is not really cooking, but if you must have smoothies you can make perfectly acceptable alternatives by using low carbohydrate yogurt and your favorite fruit. Clearly, you should make sure you only make use of fruit that is low in carbs and the whole fruit as the fiber is beneficial.
* Know what is in your food
Be sceptical of the food label that claims 'low carb' - check the nutritional information on the reverse of the product. Many are only a little lower and in some instances still higher than a competitors standard brand. In addition, beware of 'low sugar' and 'low fat' labels - 'low sugar' does not always mean 'low carb' - usually the carbs are exactly the same.
Foods rich in flavonoids
(inlcudes citrus fruits, cabbage, scarlet runner bean and basil)
The nutrients called 'flavonoids' discovered in these fruit, vegetables and pulses are thought to have properties in preventing cancer.
Doctors researching the properties of flavonoids believe they also have most other health benefits, amongst them, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory capabilities.
The majority of these are also good for weight loss, so should be included in your diet system.
