2 eggs 1/2 cup milk, sweet 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 cup flour 1 tbsp butter, melted - or substit ute

Preparation
Beat yolks of eggs, add milk, salt, flour and baking powder mixed together and shortening. Add stiffly beaten whites of eggs and bake on waffle iron unto crisp and brown.
