3/4 cup minced onion 1 cup cider vinegar 3 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp hot sauce

Preparation
PLACE ONION IN A 1 QUART GLASS MEASURE; MICROWAVE, UNCOVERED, AT HIGH FOR 2 MINUTES OR UNTIL TENDER. ADD THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS; STIR WELL. COVER WITH WAX PAPER; MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES. STIR EVERY 3 MINUTES. SERVE WITH CHICKEN, BEEF, PORK OR LAMB.

Although there is not enough, hard medical proof available, allyl sulphides are also thought by many experts to reduce the symptoms of colds, sterilization and diabetes.
Foods containing allyl sulfides are also good for weight loss, so should be included in your weight loss program.
