Recipe
Preparation
This is supposed to be the REAL Buffalo Wing recipe from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo.
The Sauce This makes enough for about 30 "wingettes". Mix all the ingredients in a small sauce pan over low heat until the margarine is completely melted. Sti occasionally.
The Wings Fry the wings in a deep fryer set at 375 degrees F., using vegetable or peanut oil. I fry 15 wings at a time for 12-15 minutes. Drain the wings for wings have been fried, pour the sauce over them, cover the bowl, and shake to completely coat the wings. They can be eaten now, or you can put them o for a few minutes to get an extra-crispy coating. Serve with carrot and cel beer (Genee Cream Ale is traditional). ** (FRANK'S, now Durkee's)

Diet tips
At the start of a diet, people most certainly look at food store and big brand food items labelled 'low in fat'. To do this is far too often a miscalculation, in that an item could be significantly reduced in fats, but nevertheless elavated in calories and carbs.
The argument against reduced carb diets
Its popular as hell, but it is really safe for you?
Increased consumption of animal-based products may lead into elevated consumption of saturated fat and cholesterol, which most authorities believe will increase the chance of coronary problems.
Most of the undesirable side-effects stated, like feeling tired, bowel disorders, or bad headaches seem to be only temporary, but critics contend that low carb diets are not without permanently harmful side effects.
Super foods containing lycopene
(includes apricots, red peppers & tomato)
Lycopene is a non-synthetic chemical compound and part of the carotenid family of phytochemicals. Lycopene is behind the deep red hue of quite a few foods.
Intrestingly, unlike many nutritional compounds, lycopene does not degrade if cooked, but is in fact increased in efficacy by being heated.
.
Lycoprene's key value is that it works as an antioxidant and seems to be an asset in the fight to reduce the chances of cancer.
It is the most potent eliminator of singlet oxygen, which is linked with skin aging. It's also thought to curtail the progression of atherosclerosis.
