Apple-Nut Bread

 

Ingredients

2 cup sugar
1 cup salad oil
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup commercial sour cream
4 cup all purpose flour
2 cup apples, peeled and chopped
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla



 

Preparation

Gradually add sugar to eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Combine dry
ingredients; add to sugar mixture alternately with oil and sour cream,
beating well after each addition. Stir in apples, pecans and vanilla.
Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at
350~ for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out
clean. Let cool in pans 5 minutes; turn out on wire racks to finish
cooling.
