Ingredients
1 from: gaye levy 1 tbsp vegetable oil 1 sm onion, coarsely chopped 2 cup no-salt tomato sauce 1/2 cup light molasses 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup dijon mustard 1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice 1 tsp liquid smoke 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp tabasco 3 pinch allspice

Preparation
Heat oil is a heavy medium skillet over med-high heat. Add onion and cook until translucent, stirring occasionally. This should take about 8 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened, about 15 minutes. Stir frequently. Makes 3 cups.
