Dilled Green Bean Salad Recipe

Ingredients
100 g french beans, trimmed 1 garlic clove, crushed 6 sprigs of dill 1/4 tsp dill seeds 1 a few mustard seeds 2 tbsp sugar 100 ml cider vinegar 1 tbsp salt

Preparation
Steam the beans until tender but still crisp - 3-4 minutes. Cool and put them in the bottom of a glass dish. Add the crushed garlic, dill sprigs and seeds, and mustard seeds. In a saucepan combine the sugar, vinegar, salt and a little water, and bring to the boil. Pour the mixture over the beans and leave to cool. Chill it overnight, covered.
