Food Tips of the Week

Losing weight

Drink more water. At times during a hectic day, you guess you are peckish but in truth you might only want a restorative glass of water or cranberry juice. The sensations of needing food and needing a drink are close, but one can result in a fat tummy and the alternative is ok.
Some lower carb diet pointers:

* It is possible to make superb smoothies with reduced carb yogurt. Admittedly, it is not really cooking, but if you are missing your smoothies you can make them with reduced carb yogurt and fruit. Clearly, you should ensure you only make use of fruit that is low in carbohydrates and use the whole fruit as the fiber is beneficial.

Wonder foods with carotenes
(includes carrots, collard greens and sweet potatoes)
These amazing healthy superfoods contain alpha-carotene and beta-carotene thought by many play a key part in cancer prevention, particularly those cancers involving the lungs. The majority of these are low in calories, so make sure you add them to your diet.
