2 cups Flour 1 Cup Sugar 1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder 1 Teaspoon Salt 3/4 Cup Margarine, melted 1 Egg, beaten 1 Teaspoon Orange Peel, grated 3/4 Cup Cranberry Juice 1 1/2 Cups Raisins 1 1/2 Cups Cranberries -- fresh, pulped
Blend all ingredients. Mixture will be lumpy. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a pre-heated 350 oven for 1 hour, 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top. - Mrs. Estudillo's 4th Grade class Flowery School, Sonoma, CA 1988

Advice on losing weight
Make sure that you drink enough fluids. Sometimes at some stage in a hectic work day, you feel you need food when in truth you may need a refreshing glass of water or cranberry juice. The feelings of hunger and thirst are somewhat similar, but one of them ends in weight increase and the other one leads to no damage.

* Don't skip meals

While you can sometimes buy reduced carb bread crumbs, you can make them yourself by simply using low carb bread. All you have to do is toast the low carbohydrate bread in a preheated oven on a sheet of cookie paper. Once it is well toasted, process it in your food processor or blender. Keep in a tupperware container.

The onion and garlic family of foods is high in allyl sulphides, a chemical which experts believe might be linked to a reduced risk of stomach and colon cancer.
