1 turkey breast, boned and halved, pa, rtially frozen
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 tbsp minced seeded jalapeno chili
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Preparation

Trim halved turkey breast slices of all fat and skin. Butterfly meat
by using a sharp knife, starting in center of one long side and
cutting in half to within 1/2" of second long side; open meat like a

meat flat on a platter.

Mix together yogurt, chili, cumin, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic powder

(or at least 2 hours).

Prepare barbecue. Grill meat 4 inches from heat source until cooked
through, about 4-6 minutes per side. Let stand for 5 minutes, then cut
diagonally into slices. Serve with a rice salad. Makes about 6
servings.

Food Tips of the Week

A few tips on healthy eating

If you enjoy eating, but want to get in shape and improve your overall vitality, then, as most people know, you need to start a thoughtfully prepared well-balanced meal plan. In a perfect world, this needs to contain 5 standard portions of grains, fruit and vegetables daily and embrace the right proportion of food types.

Its extremely popular, but it is really safe for you?
Remember, one point that is often overlooked, it is very difficult (though not technically impossible) for vegetarians to adopt a low carbohydrate diet.
Even though there is anecdotal evidence that illustrates that reduced carb diets can help reduce weight, some of this anecdotal evidence has resulted in much debate between nutrition experts, and their relative safety has been brought into question
Super foods containing lycopene
(includes apricots, red peppers & tomato)

Lycopene is a non-synthetic chemical compound and part of the carotenid family of phytochemicals. Lycopene is behind the deep red hue of quite a few foods.

Intrestingly, unlike many nutritional compounds, lycopene does not degrade if cooked, but is in fact increased in efficacy by being heated.

. Lycoprene's key value is that it works as an antioxidant and seems to be an asset in the fight to reduce the chances of cancer.

It is the most potent eliminator of singlet oxygen, which is linked with skin aging. It's also thought to curtail the progression of atherosclerosis.
