Adobong Baboy (Pork Adobo) Recipe
Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb pork loin - cut into chunks 1 head garlic 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tsp black pepper(freshly ground) 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Recipe
Preparation
Place the pork in a medium-size pot together with the garlic, soy sauce, pepper and vinegar and let stand for 2 hours. *(See note below) Cook slowly in the same pot until the pork is tender (about 30 minutes). Transfer pieces of garlic to a seperate pan and fry in hot oil until brown. Add the pork pieces to the garlic and the fry until brown. Drain. Add the broth to the fried pork and garlic and simmer for 10 minutes.
* Note (I usually brown the pork BEFORE I add it to the soy sauce mixture in order to render more of the fat out.

Food Tips of the Week
Dieting made easy
As an alternative to focusing on the junk foods you ought to eliminate from your dietary regime, direct your attention to the sensible foods that you might want to introduce to your daily routine. If you are able to inject the recommended portions healthy fruit & vegetables into your meal plan, you will discover that stop feeling hungry and have a far lower chance of being seduced by those damaging mid-morning potato chips.
Some reduced carb diet pointers:
* Make reduced carbohydrate bread crumbs for deep fried foods.
Whilst you can buy low carb bread crumbs, you may make them yourself by simply using low carb bread. Simply toast the low carb bread in a preheated oven on a cookie sheet. Once it is well toasted, process it in the food processor or blender. To store, keep in a tupperware container.
