Sunny's Yummy Easy Baked Tofu Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 16 oz block firm tofu
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp basil

Recipe Preparation

Rinse tofu and slice into 8 equal slices. Put slices in a baking
dish. Pour soy sauce to cover slices, top and bottom. Do not drench.
mix flour, chili powder, ginger and basil in a bowl. Dredge wach
pieces of tofu in the flour mixture and place ona generously oiled
cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minute on each side. Serve
with noodle sor rice.

Advice on losing weight

Make sure that you drink enough fluids. Your body requires water , it is crucial for our body's health and has no fat. It is also good in that it fills the drinker's belly and decreases feelings of emptiness. * Replace sugar with a low carb substitute such as splenda. Many recipes that require sugar can be adapted to use splenda instead. It is much lighter so you will need to do a bit of trial and error and it may not work in every case, but it does bake up nice once you have it cracked.
